Sisi to launch Middle East’s largest fish farm in June

CAIRO - 7 May 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will launch the largest fish farm in the Middle East in Kafr el-Sheikh governorate in June, in addition to developing Lake Burullus and Corniche Lake Burullus, Kafr el-Sheikh Governor Maj. Gen. Al-Said Nasr said Sunday.

Nasr added during his meeting with reporters that the government pays great attention to fish and poultry in the governorate, following the instructions of political leadership.

The project will be established in Berka Ghalion on an area of 2,500 feddans (1 feddan = 1.038 acres) and will provide 4,000 job opportunities.
