CAIRO – 13 April 2018: Azerbaijan looks forward to taking the mutual Azerbaijani-Egyptian relations forward, particularly in the tourism field, Azerbaijani Ambassador Tural Rzayev said on Thursday.

These remarks were made during the ambassadors’ meeting with Ahmed Saad El-Din, the secretary-general of the House of Representatives, on Thursday.

The ambassador stated that his country has great interest in resuscitating relations with Egypt in all fields, particularly in the field of tourism.

For his part, the Parliament’s Secretary-General Ahmed Saaduddin affirmed Egypt's appreciation and keenness to boosting the mutual relations with Azerbaijan in all fields, including the parliamentary sector.

Early in April, Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Adel Ibrahim, who recently took up the mantle. The two praised the cooperation between the two countries, praising its development on an ascending level.
