CAIRO - 10 April 2018: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Tuesday presided over the meeting of the higher committee of River Nile, in attendance of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati and number of representatives of competent authorities.

During the meeting, both ministers briefed the prime minister on what occurred during the meeting, which was held in Khartoum on April 4 and 5 regarding Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and the main points that were discussed at the meeting.

The meeting also touched on the Egyptian suggestions to implement what was agreed upon by the political leaderships of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia during their meeting on the sidelines of the African Summit in Addis Ababa in January.

They reviewed the outcomes of the Khartoum meeting and the vision on the future negotiations process, including the ongoing contacts with all parties to determine the date and venue of the next meeting during this month.
