CAIRO – 7 April 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi congratulated the Egyptian people on Orphans’ Day on Friday, calling all citizens to share their celebration with the orphans throughout the country.

President Sisi published on his official Twitter account:

“On the first Friday of April, we celebrate together the Orphans' Day in a unique human scene that highlights the values of solidarity in the Egyptian society. I invite all Egyptians to celebrate with our sons and daughters who have lost their families throughout the country, hoping to achieve a future and a better life for them,” the post read.

Egypt celebrates Orphans’ Day every year in April under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity with the participation of several government authorities.
