RAMALLAH - 4 April 2018: A group of settlers, backed by Israeli forces, stormed Al Aqsa Mosque via Magharba gate on Wednesday.

Eyewitnesses said 122 settlers stormed Aqsa mosque yards to perform their Talmudic rituals.

Without giving any reasons, the occupation forces banned two of Islamic Awqaf Department staffers from entering the mosque to perform their duties.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on several Middle East issues, Ynet reported.

Trump also "reiterated the commitment of the United States to Israel’s security." The White House added that "the two leaders agreed to continue their close coordination on countering Iran’s malign influence and destabilizing activities."
