CAIRO - 3 April 2018: An emergency meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of delegates opened on Tuesday to discuss the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.

The meeting, held at the league's premises, is chaired by Saudi delegate to the league Badr bin Saud al Shimaly.

The meeting is held at the request of Palestine and supported by Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The participants will take up the Israeli occupation's crimes against defenseless Palestinian demonstrators who rallied on the occasion marking the 42nd anniversary of the Land Day on March 30.
