Parliament to hold meetings of AIPU Wednesday, Thursday

CAIRO – 2 March 2018: The House of Representatives will host the 23rd meeting of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) on Wednesday and the 27th conference of the union on Thursday, as Egypt will receive the union's presidency from Morocco.

Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal, speakers of parliaments and Arab delegations will partake in the 23rd meeting of the Executive Committee of the AIPU, said the AIPU in an online statement on Sunday.

The general secretary of the AIPU will review reports on implementing the decisions of the previous conferences and the union's activities from 04/12/2017 until 15/03/2018, added the statement.

The regional and international activities of the union in 2018 will be reviewed, as well as the meetings of the permanent committees in the union, read the statement.
