3-day Tutankhamun conference kicks off in Cairo Saturday

CAIRO - 3 April 2017: The third annual conference on King Tutankhamun will be held Saturday-Monday at the Ministry of Antiquities headquarters in Cairo’s Zamalek district, where senior officials will speak about the young king and ways his mummy was preserved.

Ahmed Pasha Kamal hall will host the conference under the auspices of Minister of Antiquities Khaled El-Enany.

The conference will involve guided tours in the English language in King Akhenaton and King Tutankhamun's halls in the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square.

Dr. Tarek Tawfiq, General Director of the Egyptian Museum, will also deliver a 20-minute speech on the antiques of King Tutankhamun’s tomb.
