Military communication network to receive 4G network; Defence Minister says

CAIRO – 2 May 2017: Egyptian Minister of Defence Sedki Sobhi confirmed that the armed forces are moving forward to improve their combat and technical systems according to the latest electronic systems, he said during the launch of the experimental phase 4G services of the military communications network.

He clarified that the new network will be able to secure signals in various strategic directions.

The network development received much of support from President Abd-al Fatah El-Sisi to enhance the capacity and efficiency unit which aims to maintain the Egypt’s national security and impose full control over Egypt’s land coastal borders.
