CAIRO - 14 March 2018: Egypt expressed deep condolences to Bangladesh over the victims of the plane crash at Kathmandu International Airport that left 50 passengers killed.

A statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday stressed Egypt's support to the government and people of Bangladesh at this tough time.

A plane carrying 71 people from Bangladesh swerved erratically and flew dangerously low before crashing and erupting in flames as it landed Monday in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital, killing at least 50 people.
