CAIRO – 30 April 2017: A tourism campaign will be launched in India from 9-15 May. The campaign encompasses a number of aviation companies and hotels in order to revitalize the appeal of Egypt as a travel destination for the Indian market, chief of the Tourism Development Authority, Hisham el-Demery said Sunday.

“The campaign aims at promoting tourism in largest Indian cities, such as Mumbai and New Delhi, to tackle any obstacles facing Indian holidaymakers that might deter them from coming to Egypt,” Demery told MENA, pointing out that one of the major problems is the lack of flight connections between Egypt and India.

The delegation includes officials from the Tourism Ministry and representatives of the private sector who will meet with Indian tourism and aviation officials to determine new touristic programs to Egypt.
