CAIRO - 28 April 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will attend the Labor Day celebration that will take place on Sunday, organized by the General Federation of the Syndicates of the Egyptian Labor.

The Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Saafan, stated that the president will honor 10 of the old syndicate members who have highly impacted the Trade Unions activism, as well as two retired Ministry of Manpower officials for their achievements.

President Sisi will give a speech to the Egyptian labor, as they are the main pillar in the national workforce and production.

The celebration will be attended by Speaker of the House of Represetitives Ali Abdel Aal, Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Grand Imam of al-Azhar Ahmed el-Tayeb, and Egypt’s Coptic Pope Tawadros II. It will also be attended by a number of ministers, governors, ambassadors, as well as members of the Board of Directors of the General Confederation of Trade Unions, the heads of general trade unions and some heads of political parties and forces.
