Egypt, Belarus discuss opening joint automobile, machinery production

CAIRO - 1 February 2018: Chairman of the National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) Hassan Abdel Maged discussed with Belarus Ambassador in Cairo Sergei Rachkov boosting bilateral cooperation in the automobile and machinery fields.

In statements to MENA on Thursday, Rachkov said that they discussed opening joint production lines of Helwan Machinery and Equipment Co. and Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark).

He said that he and Abdel Maged toured the Helwan machinery and equipment plant to get acquainted with the different manufacturing processes.
