CAIRO – 10 January 2018: Egypt has signed three agreements with Tanzania in the fields of diplomacy, agriculture and tourism according to Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry Wednesday.

He added in a joint press conference with his Tanzanian counterpart Augustine Mahiga in Cairo that the coming period will witness very warm relations between the two countries. “We share historical and deep relations that we look forward to enhancing and improving,” Shoukry added.

Shoukry said in his statements that mutual talks included several issues of mutual interest including countering terrorism, mutual relations and mutual support in international entities, including the United Nations.

Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Augustine Mahiga, arrived in Cairo early Tuesday, accompanied by a high-level delegation.

The three-day visit to Cairo is expected to include several meetings and talks regarding the two countries’ relations, along with a number of national and international events.
