Russian Nuclear Power Plant receives 15 Egyptian MPs

CAIRO – 10 April 2017: Leningrad Nuclear Russian Power Plant received a delegation of 15 members from the Egyptian Parliament, Sunday.

This is the first visit for the Egyptian parliamentary delegation to the power plant.

Media center of Russian nuclear station stressed that they will build a new nuclear plant in Egypt coordinated by Russian experts, which will be the largest engineering project in Egypt after the Aswan Dam.

In November 2015, Moscow and Cairo signed an agreement to build a nuclear power plant in Egypt to be located at Dabaa in northern Egypt and is expected to be completed by 2022, according to Reuters.
