UPDATE 1: Northern Cairo Church blast leaves 13 dead: Health Ministry Spokesperson

CAIRO – 9 April 2017: Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail has contacted Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar and Gharbiya Governor Ahmed Deif Sakr to follow-up on the blast at the Mari Girgis Church in Tanta city, north of Cairo.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Khaled Mujahid told Egypt Today the death toll has reached 13.
