CAIRO – 24 December 2017: Masked men opened fire at a café in Al-Amreya, Giza, on Saturday, killing three people and injuring six others.

After being notified of the incident, the security forces headed to the crime scene to trace down and seize the perpetrators, and the investigations are still being carried out to identify them.

Previously, 16 people were killed and three others were injured in an attack on a restaurant and a night club in Cairo’s Agouza in 2015.

The investigations have revealed that arguments were raised between the employees of the night club and perpetrators of the attack after the employees had prevented them from entering the night club. To take revenge, the perpetrators threw Molotov cocktails at the night club.

A lot of visitors died of smoke inhalation or were burnt to death because the night club was located in a basement with no means to escape.
