Egypt and France signed a military strategic partnership for the sale of 24 Rafale aircrafts. The first batch of four aircrafts was received in August 2015 and the second batch was received in January 2016.

The purchased aircrafts hovered over Cairo on Wednesday after taking off from a French base in Cairo.

Rafale aircrafts are considered a powerful addition to the Egyptian Air Force’ss capabilities due to their technical characterizes and high-level combat systems which enable them to carry out tasks over very long ranges, the report added.
