President Sisi meets with U.S. National Security Adviser Herbert McMaster in Washington, D.C., April 4, 2017 - Youm7

CAIRO – 4 April 2017: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi met with U.S. National Security Adviser H. R. McMaster on April 4 in order to progress the political relationships between Egypt and the U.S., Youm7 reported Tuesday.

Sisi met with McMaster in his Washington, D.C. residence accompanied by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.

The meeting comes as part of Sisi’s visit to Washington upon an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump. Sisi arrived in Washington Saturday and met with Trump Monday.

The last time an Egyptian president visited Washington was in 2009, when former President Hosni Mubarak visited Barak Obama.
