CAIRO – 19 November 2017: Twenty members of “Al Thani”, the ruling Royal family in Qatar held an opposition meeting on Monday against the policies of the Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hammad.


The prominent Qatari oppositionist Sheikh Sultan Bin Suhaim Al-Thani organized the meeting in a step opposing the current Qatari regime, also to celebrate the National Day of the emirate.


Bin Suhaim vowed to celebrate the next Qatari National Day in the Emirate’s capital of Doha, asserting that the rich gas Emirate will restore its peaceful relations with the Arab Gulf neighbor states.


Bin Suhaim and the other Al Thani family members denounced the Qatari authorities’ decision to withdraw nationalities from individuals belong to opposing Qatari tribes.


The meeting called for a return of relations between Qatar and the Arab Quartet states -Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab of Emirates and Bahrain- which cut diplomatic ties with the Emirate, accusing the latter of supporting terrorism in the region.
