KHARTOUM - 18 December 2017: Sudanese President Omar al Bashir on Sunday reaffirmed his country’s rejection to US President Donald Trump’s recent decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

During a popular meeting in the Northern state, the president said al Quds belongs to Arabs and Muslims and that youths are ready to defend the old city.

Meanwhile, Bashir inaugurated a number of service and developmental projects in the sectors of transportation, education, health and banks.

He directed the transportation and electricity ministers to finalize a number of projects as soon as possible, vowing to provide all needed services.
