CAIRO – 15 December 2017: Assistant Minister of Housing for Technical Affairs, Khaled Abbas, said on Thursday that the ministry, represented by Social Housing Fund, is ready to offer new housing units for Egyptians working abroad.

Social housing will be available to those with limited incomes who cannot afford to buy pieces of lands in the “House of the Homeland” project or buy housing units at Madinty and El-Rehab where the ministry has previously offered units for Egyptians working abroad.

During a meeting between Abbas and the Egyptian community in Dubai, headed by the Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, Nabila Makram, Abbas stated that the Ministry of Housing is providing more lands in the complementary stage of the “House of the Homeland” project, which has shown a great turnout from Egyptians after offering lands in five stages.

Abbas said the ministry is finalizing the implementation of the first neighborhood in the New Capital, which includes 25,000 housing units, and will start working in the business district which will contain some of the tallest skyscrapers in Africa.
