WASHINGTON and CAIRO - 2 April 2017: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi met Sunday Jeff Immelt, chairman of the board and CEO of the U.S.-based Conglomerate General Electric in Washington, followed by a meeting with Marillyn Hewson chairwoman of Lockheed Martin,
Sisi and Immelt discussed upcoming mutual projects in Egypt. General Electric is part of the process of Egypt’s railway development, providing 100-200 train cars to Egypt. 35 percent of the train cars’ manufacturing takes place in Egypt.

Sisi expressed his gratitude for Lockheed Martin CEO Hewson, as the conglomerate provided Egypt with various military fighters. Lockheed Martin is an American aerospace, defense, security and advanced technologies company.
