AL BAYDA, Yemen - 13 December 2017: Six Houhthi militants have been killed in a major attack launched by the Yemeni Popular Resistance Committees (PRCs) in Al Quraishyah district of Al Bayda governorate in central Yemen, military sources said on Tuesday.

Fierce clashes erupted between the two parties, when the PRCs waged an offensive on some Houthi sites in Rada'a district in the governorate, the Yemeni news agency quoted the sources as saying.

The Saudi-led coalition has been launching air strikes since March 2016 to expel the Houthi insurgents in support of the government of President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi.
