CAIRO –5 December 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received on Wednesday a phone call from American President Donald Trump regarding the possibility of relocating the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

During the call, Sisi stressed the dire need not to proceed with the measures that would undermine the prospects of peace talks and which, consecutively, would complicate the situation in the Middle East.

Earlier, Trump announced that he is considering relocating the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. His statement was condemned by the international community.
