PARIS - 4 December 2017: French President Emmanuel Macron has discussed in a phone call with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed the latest developments in the Gulf and the Middle East, notably the Libyan crisis.

During the phone conversation, the two leaders have also agreed on continuing the UN-backed efforts to regain stability in Libya and combat all forms of human trafficking, the Elysee Palace said in a statement on Sunday.

Moreover, Macron asserted the importance of dismantling human trafficking networks that violate human rights, the statement added.
