CAIRO – 3 December 2017: The Court of Cassation rejected the appeal made by Egyptian businessman Ahmed Mustafa Ibrahim on Sunday.

In March 2016, Cairo Economic Court issued Ibrahim a sentence of 15 years in prison and a fine of LE 150 million. The court also forced him to refund LE 266 million to the plaintiffs.

Investigations revealed that Ibrahim received funds from Egyptian citizens between 2011 and 2015. He allegedly received the funds for investment.
