CAIRO – 1 December 2017: Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture has presented a plan to establish the first international horse station in the Middle East in the Sixth of October City.
The Ministry aims to promote the production of horses in Egypt and increase the export of Egyptian horses abroad in order to provide hard currency.

The idea of the project is to build a huge horse station on 1000 acres using the latest advanced techniques in this field. This station will substitute the Egyptian oldest station, Zahra center for Arabian Horses.

The project will consist of an equine hospitals for the treatment of patient horses and a hotel to organize international events and festivals.

The project will also include a professional equestrian school. It’s planned to build factory to produce biofuels, a clear kind of energy, out of horse waste.

An Arabian horse museum to showcase history of Arabian and Egyptian horses will also be built inside the station.

All locations in the station will be connected with a "cable car" transport network.
