ILO mission hails freedom of trade unions in Egypt as historic leap

CAIRO - 29 November 2017: The International Labor Organization (ILO) direct contact mission highlighted the historic leap in Egypt with regard to allowing more freedom for trade unions.

This is a positive development from which all trade unions should benefit, according the ILO mission's report on the outcome of a recent visit to Egypt.

The mission thanked all Egyptian ministries, especially the Manpower Ministry, for preparing a successful working program during the mission's visit to Egypt from November 13 to 16.
