Egypt condemns Iraq's Nahrawan terrorist bombing

CAIRO - 28 November 2017: Egypt strongly denounced on Tuesday the terrorist bombing in Nahrawan area of the city of Baghdad in Iraq, which resulted in the death and injury of more than 40 people.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Egypt offered condolences to the families of the victims, the Iraqi people and government, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Egypt fully stands with Iraq in its fighting against terrorism, the statement added.

Egypt will continue its efforts and coordination with the friendly countries to outline a comprehensive international strategy to get rid of terrorism in all forms, the statement noted.

Peace-loving peoples around the world have to unite against the forces of evil and aggression, the statement added.
