CAIRO –28 November 2017: "The Qatar-based Arab Organization for Human Rights only aims to cause senseless hassle by filing a legal complaint against the United Arab Emirates in the International Criminal Court," Foreign Minister of UAE Anwar Gargash said Tuesday.

On Monday, the Arab Organization for Human Rights in Qatar called on the International Criminal Court to prosecute the UAE for committing war crimes in Yemen.

Gargash further denounced Qatar’s contradictory stances towards the issues of human rights, wondering if the “closed-room” moves would compensate for the hollow slogans Qatar keeps internationally propagating.

The United Arab Emirates is amongst the Arab countries that have boycotted Qatar for its support and sponsorship of terrorism. Doha denies those allegations.

Following the Arab boycott of Doha, a list of 13-demands was handed to Doha’s government by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain for reconciliation, which includes the closing of Al-Jazeera channel and the suspension of Qatar's relationship with the extremist government of Iran.
