CAIRO– 26 November 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received a phone call from his Somali counterpart Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo to offer condolences over the victims of the terrorist attack that took place in North Sinai's el Rawda Mosque on Friday.

During the phone conversation, Farmajo stressed his country's solidarity with Egypt and the Egyptian people in fighting terrorism which has no religion, said presidential spokesman Bassam Rady.

He condemned this heinous assault, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

Sisi expressed appreciation, referring to the depth of relations binding the Egyptian and Somali peoples.

He further stressed Egypt's determination to eradicate and uproot terrorism as well as extremism, Rady reiterated.
