CAIRO - 24 November 2017: Latvia and Armenia condemned Friday the brutal terror attack on a mosque in Bir al Abed in North Sinai, which left dozens dead and wounded.

Posting on his Twitter account, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics offered his condolences to the Egyptian people and the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

In statement circulated by the Armenian embassy in Cairo, the Armenian Foreign Ministry strongly deplored the attack, described it as inhuma.

The terrorist attack, which targeted worshippers at a mosque after Friday prayers, left at least 235 persons dead and dozens wounded.
