CAIRO - 24 November 2017: Arab League (AL) Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit met during his visit to Lebanon with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al Hariri.

The AL chief congratulated Hariri over his return to Lebanon, describing his role as an effective one in maintaining stability of the Arab country, Mahmoud Afifi the spokesman for Abul Gheit said

Abul Gheit was keen on being briefed on Harir's vision toward the situation in Lebanon and reasons that led to his resignation.

He posted the Lebanese premier on the latest Arab developments, especially the urgent Arab ministerial meeting that was held in Cairo on November 19 to address ways of confronting Iran's interference in Arab affairs.
