Family of PM Sherif Ismail escorts him to Germany

CAIRO – 23 November 2017: Family of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail will accompany him during his treatment tour in Germany, scheduled to last up to three weeks.

President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is slated Thursday to name an acting prime minister, who will fulfill the duties of the role until his recovery.

The Council of Ministers is in a state of calm with the postponement of all meetings that were scheduled on Thursday, including the Board of Governors.
