CAIRO – 19 November 2017: Egypt topped Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia to be the Arab country with the best international image, according to the Nation Brands Index (NBI) survey.

The survey ranked Egypt as the 40th best-international-image country in the world, Deutsche Welle reported on Friday.

The survey results were calculated according to how people view a country across six categories, which are: its governance, people, tourism, culture and heritage, investment and immigration, and exports.

The Survey results reported the top ten countries, with Germany on top of the list, then France, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and finally Sweden.

The survey was carried out by German-based market research firm GfK and the British political consultant Simon Anholt, Deutsche Welle reported.

The GfK was founded in 1934 by an association of university teachers. It is the fourth largest market research organization in the world and Germany's largest one.
