Pope Tawadros leads eve prayer prior to ordination of bishops

WADI EL-NATRUN, Egypt - 11 November 2017: Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark led the eve prayer prior to the ordination and inauguration of three bishops and priests at the Monastery of Saint Pishoy in Wadi El Natrun on Saturday.

Among the bishops is Anba Angaelos who will become the bishop of Coptic Orthodox Diocese of London and its affiliates.

Anba Karas of New Jersey will be promoted to be the bishop of Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Philadelphia. Anba Marc, the general bishop of Paris, will be also become the bishop of Paris and northern France.

The ordination and enthronement rituals will be held on Sunday.
