CAIRO – 9 November 2017: Cairo International Airport announced a full-scale emergency plan in preparation for the arrival and departure of the foreign delegations participating in the World Youth Forum, slated for November 5 to 10.

Finalizing and fast tracking departure procedures for the foreign delegations top the priorities of Cairo Airport authorities ahead of the WYF’s closure on Thursday, sources in the airport announced on Wednesday.

Held under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, the WYF is currently running in Sham El-Sheikh and brings together 3,000 youth represented by 60 delegations to discuss issues of common interests.

During last National Youth Conference in Ismailia, the recommendation of holding an international youth conference in Egypt was brought up and was eventually approved by President Sisi.
