CAIRO – 6 November 2017: An Australian 10-year old boy had the biggest apparent impact on the participants of the “How the World Makes Its Leaders” session at the World Youth Forum in Sharm el-Sheikh Monday.

Yuma Soerianto began developing applications and encryption at six years of age out of curiosity about what electronic devices can do and with help from his father. He read large books, attended an Apple conference, met with Apple’s CEO Tim Cook and former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama.

He began with developing games on social networking websites, and then he created a gaming website of his own.

After that, he enrolled in app development courses. Today, he has created six different apps and says his role model is late Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

He is still unsure about his future, but he expressed his hopes to continue to develop apps that benefit the world and makes it more peaceful and to inspire others.
