CAIRO – 04 November 2017: Khaled Abdel Aziz, Youth and Sports Minister, spoke to Egypt Today about Egypt`s first World Youth Forum (WYF) that kicked off on Saturday in Sharm El-Sheikh. Inaugural activities will be held on Sunday.

“The Youth conference is an opportunity for communication between the state and the youth, building a greater wall of trust between them and making full use of young people`s ideas,” Abdel Aziz told Egypt Today.

Hundreds of young people from all over the world flocked to Sharm El-Sheikh where the WYF will convene under the theme “We Need to Talk.”

“This year's youth conference is different from the youth conference in previous years because this year will be attended by different nationalities. It will be an opportunity to gather and listen to the other party's view and I find it a promotional opportunity that will benefit Egypt in supporting and encouraging tourism. Egypt is fully secure and able to receive world events,” Abdel Aziz continued.
