Amb. to Lebanon: Palestinian cause central for all Arabs

BEIRUT - 3 November 2017: Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Nazih el Nagari stressed Cairo’s support for the Palestinian people in their struggle to achieve reconciliation as well as to establish an independent state.

During a meeting with a delegation of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Beirut, the diplomat reiterated that Egypt always considers the Palestinian cause as a central issue for all Arabs.

He voiced the Palestinian reconciliation would improve the conditions at the Palestinian camps in Lebanon.

The Palestinian delegation members, led by PLO secretary in Lebanon Fathi Abu al-Ardat, offered condolences to Egypt over the victims of a recent terrorist attack. They also reiterated support to the Egyptian government and people in their fight against terrorism and extremism.

They also lauded Egypt’s efforts in supporting the Palestinian national reconciliation.
