Daesh claims responsibility for Manhattan terrorist attack

WASHINGTON - 3 November 2017: Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the vehicular terrorist attack that was carried out by Sayfullo Saipov that killed eight people in Manhattan, Russia Today channel reported on Friday.

Saipov admitted to watching Daesh videos on his cell phone, before mowing down people on a bike path in the Manhattan neighborhood of Tribeca in New York City on Tuesday.

Saipov told US officials he was proud of killing eight people and injuring at least 11 others, and he also requested a Daesh flag be put up in his hospital room.
