CAIRO – 30 October 2017: Terrorism is not only a threat for Egypt but to the whole world including EU-member countries, Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Neighborhoods Policy and Enlargement Negotiations said Monday.

During a press conference held in Cairo with foreign minister Sameh Shoukry, Hahn praised the efforts of the Egyptian government to counter terrorism, affirming that the European union (EU) aims to enhance its working strategy with Egypt against terrorism.

Hahn added that the EU is discussing allocating €60 million ($69.68 million) to support international efforts to combat illegal immigration.
