CAIRO - 28 October 2017: His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has received a telephone call from The French President Emmanuel Macron.

During the call, they discussed the war on terrorism and the operations launched to liberate Al-Qaim, as well as the redeployment of Iraqi forces in Kirkuk ,the rest of the regions ,relations between the two countries and political and security situations.

The French president affirmed his country's support for the unity of Iraq and his keenness to support the efforts of the Iraqi government to maintain Iraq's unity, security, peace and dialogue through the constitution.

Dr. Haider Al-Abadi affirmed the importance of completing the battle to liberate the remaining Iraqi cities from the terrorism, which is a priority for us, pointing out that the launching of the liberation operations came to complete the liberation of the entire Iraqi territory and the elimination of Daesh's terrorist gangs.

His Excellency pointed out that the government is continuing to impose federal authority at border crossings and regions in accordance with the Constitution.
