MOSCOW- 28 October 2017: Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov said Saturday that it is important to resume a fruitful dialogue with Pyongyang about its nuclear and missile programs.

Sanctions against North Korea will not solve the problem, Tass news agency reported, quoting Antonov as saying.

During his participation in the 3rd global youth forum in New York, he said that Russia supports all resolutions of the UN Security Council (UNSC) and observes sanctions adopted by the UN in order to stimulate the North Korean leadership to change their foreign policy course and renounce the missile and nuclear ambitions.
