Passengers wait as a strike by drivers suspends train traffic in Egypt at the main station in Cairo - Reuters

CAIRO – 27 October 2017: The Railway authority announced on Friday that it will operate four trains allocated specifically to transport supporters of al-Ahly SC to Alexandria’s Borg al-Arab stadium, the Railway Authority announced on Friday.

Borg al-Arab stadium hosts on Saturday the Confederation of African Football final between the Egyptian club and Morocco’s league leader al-Wedad.

Sayed Salem, head of the Railways Authority, said the train ticket will cost LE 40 ($2.26), adding that the first two trains are scheduled to leave from Cairo at around 9:30 a.m. and return around 10p.m..

Ahly managed to qualify for the final after snatching a 7-4 win on aggregate over Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel.
