EUIA head urges Sisi to run for 2nd presidential term

CAIRO - 26 October 2017: Chairman of the Egyptian Union for Investors Associations (EUIA) Mohamed Khamis on Thursday urged President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to run for a second presidential term, for the sake of maintaining Egypt's stability and proceeding with the development march. 

The announcement comes after the EUIA head signed “Alashan Tabneeha” (To Build It) petition, which calls on President Sisi to compete for the upcoming presidential poll. 

Following his signature to the petition, Khamis referred to some achievements of President Sisi at the political and economic levels, including his constant pursuit to bring about security, development and stability for the country, in addition to his efforts to combat terrorism and corruption.
