CAIRO - 21 October 2017: The Cabinet mourned the police victims who lost their lives Friday in a gun battle with terrorists in Wahat area in the Western Desert.
The Cabinet also commended the sacrifices made by policemen along with the Armed Forces to uproot the forces of evil as well as to foil their plots to threaten the people's security and hinder the construction and development efforts.
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail denounced the acts carried out by terrorist elements, stressing that these acts increase the Egyptians' determination to continue efforts to counter terrorism and extremism.
Ismail also expressed his sincerest condolences to the victims' families and wished speedy recovery for the wounded.
