Solidarity minister mourns police martyrs of Wahat attack

CAIRO - 21 October 2017: Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali offered on Friday condolences over the killing of police personnel in a shootout with terrorists in the desert of Wahat, southwestern of Cairo.

In press remarks, Wali appreciated the role of police in cooperation of the Armed Forces in combating terrorism and maintain stability in the country.

She stressed that "terrorism will never undermine the Egyptian people's will."

"The Egyptian people, from all sections, will keep confronting terrorism," said the minister.
