92% of Syrian territory liberated from Daesh – Russian MoD

MOSCOW - 20 October 2017: Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday that about 92 percent of Syrian territories have been liberated from Daesh group.

In a statement, the ministry noted that during the past week, Russian sappers managed to clear up to 200 hectares of lands from explosives in Deir ez-Zor and defused more than 6,800 explosive devices.
